Participatory project inspired by Ana Mendieta
Project carried out in March 2024, within the framework of Women’s Month. The work is conceived as a participatory piece that pays tribute to Ana Mendieta’s silhouettes, activating her memory through the collective process of creating a dough that takes the shape of a bread silhouette.
From collectivity, closeness, and camaraderie, the piece is built through the body and conversation.
Kneading becomes a symbolic gesture that strengthens the encounter among women and reactivates the memory of an artist who, through her art and her connection to the earth, remains a fundamental reference for women creators.
