Urban Khipus intervenes in space through a language of knots and circumferences that intertwine in a circular manner. Drawing on the idea of the khipu, the work proposes the knot as a gesture that connects and welcomes: a point of encounter where differences are held in tension, embraced, and transformed. The weaving grows in a spiral like a network of invisible ties, inviting us to imagine other forms of relation and the construction of a “we” grounded in hospitality.
