The Crack is a project that reflects on the relationship we maintain with the Earth. It emerges as an urgent call to rethink how we inhabit it—not from distance or exploitation, but from a place of conscious and respectful closeness.

The crack appears as a trace, as a wound, and as evidence of a fracture—not only of the territory, but of the bond we have built with it. Within this rupture also resides the unspeakable: that which has not found language, the silenced word that persists beneath the surface.

It is within this tension—between the visible and the hidden, between what is spoken and what is denied—that the work is situated. The crack does not only separate: it reveals, exposes, and lays bare that which has been contained or ignored.

This work positions itself as a gesture of insistence: to remind us that the Earth is not an inexhaustible resource, but the shared space that sustains us. A shared land, traversed by silences, that demands responsibility, listening, and a different way of relating.
