La huella de una casa

The piece emerges from an absence. A gauze house, previously suspended in space, disappears. In its place, the ceiling gives way and leaves a mark: a material trace that reveals the passage of time, the fragility of the structure, and the instability of dwelling.

Far from repairing or covering that wound, the work is constructed in direct relation to it. Through light and translucent materials, the installation does not seek to restore what was lost, but to accompany the void and enter into dialogue with the existing mark.

Regeneration is not conceived as restoration, but as a process that acknowledges rupture and integrates it. The suture—visible, fragmented—does not conceal the wound, but makes it present as a constitutive part of the form. The house ceases to be understood as a stable refuge and shifts toward a fragile, permeable, and constantly transforming condition. What remains is not the structure, but its trace.
